    Is it mandatory to have a tag on your suitcase?

    It's not legally required, but highly recommended. Airlines cannot locate lost luggage without clear identification of the owner. If lost without a tag, you simply risk never seeing your suitcase again.

    What to put on a luggage tag?

    Information to provide: your name (or just the initial of your first name), a mobile phone number (with international dial code for trips abroad), and an email address. Avoid including your full address (risk in case of burglary during your vacation).

    Should you label your international luggage?

    Yes, absolutely. For international travel, use an international phone format (+33 6..) and an email, legible to any agent. You can also add your hotel address for your return, in case the suitcase is found after your departure.

    How do you attach a luggage tag?
