A TRAVEL HOUSE SINCE 1976

It all began in 1976 , when the Taieb family decided to found a new type of factory to manufacture rigid cardboard suitcases : lighter and more ergonomic than traditional suitcases.

Inspired by the innovative trunks that Louis Vuitton launched in 1854, the founders of the GYL house created a completely new concept: to make the concepts of luxury accessible to all travelers and accompany them everywhere and throughout their lives.

THE FIRST MALES

Driven by its founders' desire for innovation, GYL quickly had 500 employees. The revolutionary use of PVC to manufacture the first trunks guaranteed the success of the travel company, which quickly exported its products to more than 20 countries .

Today, after more than 60 years of experience, GYL continues its journey without compromising the demands of its DNA: excellence, innovation, functionality, sustainability .
