Corsair applies precise baggage rules according to fare class and destination: cabin limited to 55 x 35 x 25 cm, checked luggage varying from 0 to 2 x 32 kg. Before packing your suitcase, check your exact fare to avoid airport fees.

Corsair cabin baggage: authorized dimensions and weight

In Economy class, you can carry one cabin bag measuring a maximum of 55 x 35 x 25 cm (wheels, handles, and pockets included). This format corresponds to a standard cabin suitcase. The total weight of your cabin bag is limited to 12 kg. This information is available on Corsair's official baggage page.

In Premium or Business class, the cabin allowance increases to 18 kg, for the same maximum dimensions.

Can I take a backpack in addition to my cabin bag?

Yes. Corsair allows one personal item in addition to the main cabin bag. Its maximum dimensions are 33 x 25 x 20 cm and it must fit under the seat in front of you. This can be a backpack, handbag, or satchel.

Please note: the weight allowance of 12 kg (Economy) or 18 kg (Premium/Business) covers both bags combined, not each separately.

Corsair checked baggage allowance by class

Checked baggage allowance varies depending on your fare class and destination. The maximum dimensions are common to all classes: the sum of height + length + width must not exceed 158 cm (maximum height 95 cm). The maximum weight per checked bag is 32 kg.

Club Corsair Gold or Platinum members benefit from one free additional bag (23 kg in Economy, 32 kg in Business).

Price of additional Corsair baggage

If your checked baggage allowance is insufficient, you can add bags online until departure, or at the Corsair counter on the day of travel. Rates vary depending on the destination and time of purchase.

Tip: buy your additional baggage at least 24 hours before departure via your "My Booking" area to avoid airport fees, which are often two to three times higher.

Liquids and prohibited items in the cabin

The 100 ml rule applies on Corsair flights: each liquid, gel, or paste must be in a container of 100 ml maximum. These containers must be grouped in a transparent, re-sealable plastic bag of 20 x 20 cm (one per passenger), for a total volume of 1 liter maximum.

Medications, baby food, and prescription nutritional supplements are exempt, upon presentation of proof.

Prohibited in the cabin:

• Sharp instruments (knives, scissors with blades longer than 6 cm)
• Tools (drills, screwdrivers, saws, hammers)
• Blunt objects (baseball bats, skateboards)
• Liquids exceeding 100 ml and beverages purchased before security check

Prohibited in the cabin and checked baggage: explosives, compressed gases, flammable liquids, electric scooters, hoverboards, ammunition. The MacBook Pro 15" model (Apple recall) is prohibited in checked baggage only.

How to add baggage after booking?

Corsair allows you to add checked baggage at any time until departure, through four channels:

• Online via your "My Booking" area (cheapest option)
• By phone with customer service (7 days a week)
• During online check-in (up to 72 hours before departure)
• At the Corsair counter at the airport on the day of the flight (highest rates)

The earlier you anticipate, the more advantageous the rate. A bag purchased online more than 24 hours in advance costs up to €130 less than at the airport counter.

Which suitcase to choose for a Corsair flight?

For cabin baggage (55 x 35 x 25 cm max), a lightweight hard-shell cabin suitcase will allow you to optimize space while staying under 12 kg. For checked baggage, a 23 kg travel suitcase is suitable for Economy flights to the Antilles or the Indian Ocean. If you are traveling Business class to Africa, a large 32 kg hard-shell suitcase will be adapted to your allowance.
